The K&S 4526 Auto-Stepback Wedge Bonder is a manual/semi-automatic wedge bonder designed for aluminum wire, gold wire, and ribbon bonding applications where wire length and loop formation require tight control. With individual bond parameter control, programmable loop formation, a large bonding area, and support for a wide variety of wires, the 4526 is well suited for demanding microwave, hybrid/MCM, chip-on-board, and discrete device applications.
Its deep-access bonding head option and real-time tail adjustment system make it especially useful for deep-cavity microwave work where consistent tail length is critical.
